Sometimes, the value of the repairs may exceed the market value of your old PC.  We will not charge at all to look at a computer that is technically beyond economic repair, if you bring it to us, if you choose to repair it of course we can do it. contact us for sound impartial advice.  You can of course keep all of your precious data and PCFixShop will be more than happy to copy the data to your new PC either from us or a computer sourced yourself.

If PCFixShop can't fix your problem to your satisfaction there will be absolutely no charge.   All computers however, can normally be repaired at a cost.   Sometimes PC's or Peripheral Devices however are beyond economic repair, we will inform you that this is the case, and no charge will be made if you purchase a replacement unit, peripheral or replacement parts from us.  Remember PCFixShop sell pre-built computer units from as little as £379.00 inclusive. If we diagnose a failed part(s) and the customer decides not to go ahead with the repair, have the replacement part(s) fitted or purchase a replacement PC system or peripheral from us.  We will charge the customer for one full hour time spent. (normally £50 but may be higher for an out of area or out of hours fix).  This is fully refundable if a system or replacement parts or peripheral is purchased later, within a reasonable time-frame (up-to 12 weeks after the initial consultation). This may incur an additional fee if customer sources their own replacement part and we are asked to fit or setup. No charge at all will apply if we do not have a suitable replacement unit available or no replacement parts or peripherals can be sourced from our suppliers.  Printers are exluded from No Fix No fee as PCFixshop do not supply PC printers.  If the printer is beyond economic repair, the one hour charge will usully apply.

In most cases, we can retrieve all of your precious data and write it to new USB Memory Stick, Cloud Service,  External Disk or PC/laptop as necessary.

PC Fix Shop only use UK sold branded new parts - Never grey imports.   We Do Not use seconds reconditioned or second hand parts at all (unless source parts are no longer available or manufactured) - we  It would tarnish our reputation for solid reliability.
